Important Update

As you may be aware, UK Lawyers for Israel is notorious for targeting organisations that support our brothers and sisters in Palestine, whether that support be in word or deed.
This has included attempts to undermine and disrupt the work of Muslim charities through allegations of links to terrorist activity, which has often resulted in the freezing of charitable assets and the suspension of vital operations whilst investigations take place.
The same has now happened to Al-Khair Foundation, as you can read about in their statement here:

In view of the above, we have decided to pause donations through the Jaamia2Gaza fundraising page until the situation is resolved.
We had hoped that the matter would have reached a resolution by now, however, the Charity Commission's inquiry seems to be taking some time...
We will now be liaising with JustGiving and exploring our options with regards to the funds currently held by them, and will provide a further update as soon as possible.
